Administrative Assistance

When applying for a residence permit and work permit as a self-employed person, a lot comes into play, in the sense that there is a minimum of administrative requirements to be fulfilled. These might be the requirements of the Tax Authorities and also of the Immigration Department.

One of the requirements to be eligible for a residence permit is that the applicant provides proof of sufficient means of subsistence. This is a complicated exercise, both for employed persons and for self-employed persons. The applicant must prove his income and expenditure on the basis of receipts, declarations, and invoices whereas in most cases the applicant will not have a bank account. In such cases, NCC Legal can help out and guide the applicant in making his/her income and expenditure visible in a structural way.

If the applicant is in the possession of a sedula (ID card), a crib number may be requested from the tax authorities which makes it possible to file a tax return form.
